There is no logical pathway through Xavier Corberó’s Barcelona estate and no limits to its eccentricity other than those imposed by the laws of physics. “The outcome of what I do has to be poetry,” he once said.
Photographer Salva López’s exploration of the surreal masterpiece, and home, of one of Catalonia’s most celebrated sculptors featured in Kinfolk’s Fall 2020 issue. In this image, the estate is placed in the context of its wider surroundings—the Barcelona suburb of Esplugues de Llobregat.
