Amazonite

Named after the ancient warrior goddess of Britain, ANDASTRA is a hand-painted damask with distinctive bands of colour in the background. Based on a motif we found in the archives of Gainsborough, the renowned silk weaving house, we have blown up its scale for a more modern feel while purposely preserving the original draftsmans grids (which were used to plot the design onto the loom) as our way of celebrating the time-honoured craft of weaving.
